Distinguished Service to Humanity Award
Volunteers of America, 2006
Volunteers of America presented RE/MAX Co-Founders Dave and Gail Liniger with the Ballington and Maud Booth Award for Distinguished Service to Humanity in 2006. The Linigers were recognized for their outstanding leadership and commitment to making a difference in their community. The Linigers donated the use of their private land for charitable events that enabled Volunteers of America’s Colorado affiliate to raise funds for its many programs that serve at-risk children and youth, low-income seniors, families and people with disabilities.

Firms Lead in Top Brokerages Study
"REAL Trends 500," 2006
In its 19th year of publication, the "REAL Trends 500" survey categorized RE/MAX as one of the strongest competitors with 145 firms, a whopping 25.7 percent of the positions available. The survey measured the performance of the United State's leading realty service firms in 2005. Also, 130 RE/MAX firms were identified in the "Up-And-Comers" list among brokerages with 500 or more closed transaction sides.
